Aviation, Highways, Transit, and Economic Development on the Agenda

This week, Chairman Sam Graves and Ranking Member Rick Larsen announced the subcommittee rosters for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the 119th Congress. I am honored and grateful to have been appointed by Chairman Graves to serve on three subcommittees critical to the CNMI: the Aviation Subcommittee, the Highway and Transit Subcommittee, and the Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Subcommittee. These appointments provide the Northern Marianas with a unique opportunity to advocate for a comprehensive program of economic recovery—focused on revitalizing our tourism sector, improving our transit systems, and strengthening our economic and public infrastructure.
