Advocating for Communities at T&I Member Day

I was honored to briefly chair the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s Member Day hearing, where I heard testimony from colleagues across the country advocating for critical transportation and infrastructure projects in their districts.  Member Day is an important opportunity for Members who do not serve on the Committee to highlight local priorities and seek support for investments that strengthen connectivity, safety, and economic growth.  I appreciated the thoughtful input from my colleagues on both sides of the aisle and remain committed to ensuring that infrastructure needs in communities, especially those in our island territories, are heard and considered.
