$444,000 Awarded to DPW to Repair Road Signage

The CNMI Department of Public Works has been awarded $444,962.88 in FEMA funding to repair or replace damaged signage and associated components following Super Typhoon Sinlaku. The grant covers 90% of the total eligible project cost of $494,403.20. We commend DPW for its continued work to restore critical infrastructure and improve safety across our islands. Replacing damaged signs is an important step toward helping residents and visitors navigate our roads safely as the Commonwealth continues its recovery from Sinlaku.
