$3.5 million for Marianas projects

Three projects I requested received a total of $3,464,000 in the FY 2026 spending bill marked up by the Appropriations Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Subcommittee. The projects addressing various needs across the Marianas include:

• $1,464,000 – Saipan Mayor’s Office Heavy Equipment

• $1,000,000 – Marpo Heights Homestead Water Infrastructure

• $1,000,000 – CHCC Medical Supplies Warehouse

The full Appropriations Committee advanced the Agriculture spending bill Wednesday and now heads to the floor for consideration by the full House.
