$333K Awarded to CUC For Sinlaku Recovery Efforts

FEMA has awarded $333,439 to the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation to reimburse emergency protective measures taken in response to Super Typhoon Sinlaku. Provided at a 100% federal cost share under the Robert T. Stafford Act, this funding will help cover the costs of protecting public health, safety, and critical infrastructure during the disaster. I will continue working closely with FEMA and our local partners to ensure the CNMI receives the federal support needed to recover, rebuild, and strengthen our resilience against future storms.
