I was impressed by the mass talent displayed at the NMI Local Open Weightlifting Competition at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium. Athletes like Antonette Labausa, Pipit “Pip” Ball, and Joey Colisao showed incredible strength and determination as they lifted some serious weight. From seasoned medalists to rising stars, the competition was a powerful showcase of dedication, discipline, and community spirit. Great job to all the lifters and organizers who made the event such a success!
