Our artists and cultural leaders wrapped up an incredible week at the 2025 Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, DC! From traditional songs to cultural and fashion demos, they proudly shared our Chamorro and Carolinian heritage with hundreds of thousands of visitors on the National Mall. A special shout out to the Northern Marianas Humanities Council for arranging and coordinating  this trip. Thank you for giving our people this opportunity to showcase what makes us so special, for the opportunity provided to folks in DC to experience it for themselves, and for your dedication in keeping our cultures alive.
