Summer Reading Challenge

This summer, students from kindergarten to the 8th grade are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge hosted by the Second Lady Usha Vance! From June 1st through September 4th, students can explore new stories, discover new ideas, and enjoy reading by completing 12 books of their choice for the challenge.

Those who complete the challenge and submit their reading log and submission form by 11:59PM ET on September 4th, 2026 will receive a personalized certificate and a bookmark, and they will also be entered for a chance to visit Washington, D.C. and the White House. I encourage all eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity to make reading part of their summer and celebrate the wonders of learning.
