Meeting with Mayor Aldan

While on Tinian, I appreciated the opportunity to sit down with Mayor Edwin P. Aldan to discuss the island’s ongoing recovery from Super Typhoon Sinlaku, the federal response, and the work still ahead. We talked about the progress that has been made, the challenges that remain, and how we can continue working together to make sure Tinian’s needs are heard in Washington. Recovery is not just about repairing damage. It is about making sure our communities have the resources and support they need to come back stronger. I appreciate Mayor Aldan’s partnership and his continued leadership on behalf of the people of Tinian. I look forward to continuing our work together as recovery efforts move forward.
