I hope all of the dads out there had a wonderful Father’s Day yesterday and had the chance to spend some time with the people who make fatherhood so meaningful. I also want to give a special shoutout to the man holding things together at home whenever I am away in Washington, my husband and father to our daughter, Chester. Public service often means time away from family, and I am grateful for his love, support, patience, and willingness to carry a little extra when duty calls. To all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, and father figures who show up every day for their families, thank you for the guidance, sacrifice, and steady presence you provide.
