Close Up Foundation Cornerstones of American Democracy

As our nation prepares to mark America’s 250th anniversary, high school teachers across the Northern Mariana Islands have access to a strong new civic education resource. Close Up Foundation’s Cornerstones of American Democracy is a free, new four-week curriculum for grades 10 to 12 that helps students examine core political values, historical case studies, contemporary issues, and civic dialogue. Close Up also offers related America 250 resources through its NextGen Roundtable initiative, giving teachers additional tools to support civic learning in the classroom.
