CJPA Awarded Over $750K for Violence Prevention

The Commonwealth’s Criminal Justice Planning Agency has received two significant grants from the Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women. The FY 2026 STOP Formula Grant Program has awarded $620,987 to strengthen partnerships among law enforcement, prosecution, courts, and victim services, enhancing strategies to combat violent crimes against women and support victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Additionally, the Sexual Assault Services Formula Program has provided $129,268 to expand intervention, advocacy, and support services for victims of sexual assault and their families. These grants will empower local organizations and ensure comprehensive care for survivors across our community. Congratulations to CJPA
