Celebrating Community College Month & Supporting Pell Grants

I am proud to have joined a bipartisan effort to strengthen the Pell Grant Program and protect access to higher education for students across the CNMI. For many of our students, Pell Grants are a deciding factor in whether college is possible. The cost of post-secondary education is real, and these grants help bridge that gap in a way that directly affects who is able to continue their education and build a future here at home. This is tied to the strength of our workforce. When our students have access to education, our islands have access to talent, skills, and opportunity. I will continue working to ensure these programs are funded and accessible so our students have a fair shot at moving forward.
