The Commonwealth has received $382,703 in FEMA funding for the Crisis Counseling - Immediate Services Program in response to Super Typhoon Sinlaku, FEMA recently announced. This support will help expand access to critical mental health and emotional support services for residents across Rota, Saipan, Tinian, and the Northern Islands as we continue to recover. Disasters leave lasting impacts that go far beyond physical damage, and this program plays an important role in helping individuals and families cope, heal, and rebuild. We are grateful to FEMA, our local providers, and all those working on the ground to ensure our communities have the support they need during this difficult recovery period.
