$1.32 Million in Crisis Counseling Support

Last week, we got word that $1,320,108 in federal funding was awarded to the CNMI through FEMA’s Crisis Counseling Program following Super Typhoon Sinlaku. This funding will support crisis counseling and mental health services for individuals and communities in Saipan, Tinian, Rota as we continue to recovery from the storm. Recovery is about rebuilding homes and infrastructure, but also about supporting the well-being of our people. I’m grateful for the federal resources that will help ensure our communities have access to the support they need as we move forward together.
