$1 Million for Medical Oxygen Generator

The Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) is slated to receive $1 million under the FY 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act approved by the House Appropriations Committee Tuesday. The Community Project Funding request I submitted will support the procurement and installation of an on-site medical oxygen generator and related infrastructure at the Lucia “Chiang” Villagomez Arizapa Health Center on Tinian. This investment will strengthen the CNMI's healthcare system by ensuring a reliable supply of medical oxygen and enhancing the availability of safe, high-quality respiratory care for all patients. The FY 2027 Labor-HHS-Education appropriations bill will now advance for consideration by the full House.
